People have different ways of passing the time until the snow season rolls around.
Some work, others go to the beach.
Personally, I turn to Youtube... yeah, that's cool.

In my 'extensive' research leading to the decision to go to Revelstoke ('Hey, Revelstoke sounds wicked, want to go there?' 'Yeah, okay'), I came across a video of three Canadian dudes doing cool stuff there.

I'm always hesitant to have a crack at black and white photography cos people do it too much and it looks a bit, well, shit.
But when we had the camera out Paz suggested it and I got a couple of crackers (I think, anyways) of him at the top of Watchtower.

The trip finally began last Monday when Stu, Paz and Danny hit the road to Mt Arapiles in Western Vic to climb some rock.

Paz and Stu hit Watchtower Chimney on Watchtower Face on Wednesday, a cruisey three pitch grade 12 with a lot of bridging up a chimney.

About Stu:

I have a degree in journalism and worked as a sports journalist for Star News Group after graduating, until I decided a change of scenery was in order, so I packed my bags and headed off to Canada. I'm currently living in a ski town in interior BC, writing, blogging and snowboarding my life away before I head off through the US on a road trip.

I began this blog as a way to keep family and friends updated with what I'm up to, as a way to keep writing while I'm travelling and as a way to learn more about social media, which, I believe, has a big role to play in the media landscape going forward.

Work:

I worked as a sports journalist for Star News Group, working on a series of local papers throughout Melbourne.
