It hasn't snowed in a while at Revelstoke, the hill is crap, moguly and hardpacked and it's about time we do something about it.
In times of crisis, there's only one person to turn to... God.

Or, more specifically, Ullr, the Nordic snow-god.

Description, courtesy of Breckenridge's website - which has a week-long festival dedicated to Ullr:
'In Norse mythology Ullr (pronounced Oool-er) was the winter god. He was the son of Sif and the stepson of Thor, the "God of Thunder." Ullr loved the cold, and delighted in traveling over the country on his skis or skates. He also delighted in the chase, and pursued his game through the Northern Forests.'

Let us pray:

* Crap video, sweet prayer
** Snow is coming tomorrow night so something must be working!

Sometimes there's no way to introduce things until after you've seen them. This is one such example.
Made by a snowboarder from Whistler, Robjn Taylor. His short movies are hilarious, check more out here (Dogshirts is a classic too).

Revelstoke recently went through a dry spell on the hill, with no new snow for a week and temps hitting -35, pretty much turning the hill into icy crap.

This unfortunate turn of events inspired Getting Stoked's latest fad/craze (think marbles or yo yos in primary school), Things To Do When The Snow Doesn't Come.

Click read more, hopefully it'll make sense.

People have different ways of passing the time until the snow season rolls around.
Some work, others go to the beach.
Personally, I turn to Youtube... yeah, that's cool.

In my 'extensive' research leading to the decision to go to Revelstoke ('Hey, Revelstoke sounds wicked, want to go there?' 'Yeah, okay'), I came across a video of three Canadian dudes doing cool stuff there.

Click read more to check the video out, it (also) has a very cool opening track.
