Despite taking the camera out heaps throughout the last three weeks of the trip, most of these shots are from the last couple of days.

Mostly because Paz finally tackled Kachoong in the last week, and it is ridiculously photogenic.

A chunky roof climb, at grade 21 it scares the crap out of lots of people.

Here's some shots of Paz getting up it on his third crack, after two spectacular falls, and an equally enjoyable rest where Danny climbed it with the aim of falling, then freaking out just before he let go.

Paz working the roof:

Pulling the lip:

Success:

As previously mentioned, Danny climbed up while Paz was having a rest just to take a fall. Showing everyone how easy the climb really is, Danny holds the classic one-hander:

Kachoong was only one of many climbs for the trip. We took the camera on a bunch, this one I was half-way up New Image wall shooting across at Danny on Tarantula, a Grade 19 crack:

And the cheeky smile at the top:

Paz and Oli went up Skink one beautifully sunny (and kinda hot day), it's a beautiful climb made all the more awesome by being directly next to one of Araps' most famous climbs, Watchtower Crack (16).

Watchtower crack is the obvious crack up the left in the pic, Skink follows the smaller one heading diagonally right up the photo. Paz is in the white helmet, Oli belaying out of shot:

Finally, a shot I took of Paz as he was heading towards the top of Kachoong. I tried to get a silhouette effect going, it kinda worked but would've been nicer with less cloud:
